I'm considering buying an espresso machine and my favorite drink is Starbucks' Cinnamon Dolce Latte. Any one have any thoughts as to the best espresso for making this drink?
(Sorry if this is a silly question as I am quite the newb when it comes to espresso machines
)

Tassimo is the coffee machine that use Starbucks T Discs, it is a one cup coffee maker and you can enjoy all your favorite Starbucks beverages.
Really any espresso machine will work. They don’t have special ones for specialty drinks. All you’ll need is an espresso machine (can be found at Walmart, Target, etc, and yes the cheap ones work well), some milk, and the Starbucks syrup.
P.S. if you want to skip the $20 Illy espresso ground you can just take the coffee you like and grind it finer. Espresso grounds is the same as regular grounds, just smaller. And be sure not to pack the grounds too hard when making your drink.
A cheap espresso machine won’t give consistent results, but since you’ll be flavoring the drink it may not matter. I use a Rancillio Silvia, but that goes for about $700.
As to the second part of the previous answer: You can’t grind coffee twice (every burr grinder warns you about this). The only way to do it is in a blade ‘grinder’ which will not give even grind results so it’s worthless for espresso. If you’re not going to spend a few hundred bucks for a quality grinder, buy the right grind size (in valve sealed bags, for freshness).
I roast my own beans and grind right before brewing, for freshness.
