and how can i make them?
and this is kind of dumb.. but would i let the steam/froth go into the cup or the pot thing?

I have a Estro "vapore" that was given to me, it will make steam but won't push the espresso out. The basket with the coffee in it isn't even wet. Any suggestions?

Is my home espresso machine’s steam too wet?

I have a Krups Type 964 machine. If I steam a cup and a half of cold chocolate milk for my mocha, by the time it's hot it's up to over a cup and 3/4. Is this normal? After putting my espresso in, it doesn't seem very thick any more. Not like my local Dutch bros. mochas.

I have a combo espresso/coffee machine and I've been trying to make a decent cappuccino but I've had no luck so far. I make my espresso and then flip the switch from espresso to froth and wait for it to heat and then turn up the steam knob but if any steam comes out at all it comes from the espresso drip.. not the frothing device or even the steam tube. I've tried to steam the milk without making espresso first but the same thing happens. Any advice?

When I started drinking espresso, I tried my hand making it at home. Not sure if it would take, I bought the Mr. Coffee ECM20 which was economical, and I must admit it was good when it wasn't spewing steam out the top or one of the parts wasn't broken. It's time for a new machine. (I've spent more on replacement parts than I did on the machine.) I'm looking for something that is still economical and fairly easy to maintain. Thanks.

What brand and model of espresso machine?

is under 0 and works well? It should also be able to steam milk. It would also be desireable if it came w/ a milk pitcher to steam w/ and some shot glasses. or demitasse cups (either works). the one i have is loud and u have to wait for a green light to steam or brew (which i hate). and u have to measure the espresso shots w/ out glasses. anyway i just want an easy to operate machine i can make lattes w/

So I just acquired an espresso machine from a friend of mine, but it lacks the instruction manual. I conquered the making the espresso part with ease, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to steam the milk. Can anyone out there help me? I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance ;)

Was just wandering if the espresso machine has a removable water tank, does this mean that it uses a pump to exert the pressure to make the espresso. The machine im interested in is the Russell Hobbs rh-1915, I've looked all over but cant seem to find out if it uses steam or a pump to exert pressure.

If I fill the water compartment of my espresso machine with milk instead of water will it clog/ruin the machine?

I'm not talking about the frother, which is used to frothe milk. I'm talking about the water compartment that you put water in, which makes steam, which makes espresso. Anyone who's ever owned an espresso machine will know what I'm talking about. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!
has anyone actually done it?
