I know there's the obvious "just start drinking water" but besides that, what should I be doing *mentally*? My mom drinks caffeine drinks, albeit less than I do, and she still buys the drinks for herself so what can I do to make myself *not* go to the fridge to get myself a drink? Is there any way to stop the cravings?
Just any advice I can get on this would be very helpful.

I live near a convenient store that sells a generic brand of coffee called Beantown. While they a brewed "gourmet blend" (which tastes ok at best), they also have a machine that makes Cappuccinos and hot chocolates, etc. I'm wondering if a Cappuccino (which was quite good) has the same amount of caffeine?

My mom just gave me an old Salton "Three For All" espresso machine, and I don't know how to use the steamer! I don't even know how that side of the machine works at all (... and I used to be a barista at Starbucks). Can somebody help?

I was given a used Krups cappucino machine with an aluminum water/pressure resivoir. It had some milky-white water in it. Other than rinsing and pouring out the water several times, is there a better way to clean the aluminum?
I am concerned about the reaction to acid-based cleaners such as vinegar and lemon juice, as they stain and blacken aluminum, and may cause an "off" flavor to the coffee..
