I am looking for a coffee/espresso machine for my in-laws for Christmas. I know NOTHING about espresso machines, so I am thoroughly confused when I see "pump" and "automatic." They have never owned an espresso machine, but they are avid coffee drinkers (this machine will replace their old coffee maker, which is acting up). What kind of combination machine would be best for a beginner? I would like to keep the cost under 0 also. I keep coming across "DeLonghi's BCO264B Cafe Nero Combo Coffee, Cappuccino and Espresso Maker." Does anyone know anything about this particular one? I am finding that the reviews online are positive and negative. Any information and suggestions will help, as you can tell I have no idea what I'm looking for. Thank you!
I want to buy an espresso maker. The only drink I buy is an Iced Vanilla Latte. Very simple drink but it cost me 7 dollars every time. If I bought an espresso machine, would I be able to make my coffee taste similar to the way the coffee stand makes it?
Is it possible to make espresso without these things? I only have a generic coffee maker and a stove. How would I create espresso then? How much is a decent perculator and espresso maker if I do need them? Please list store prices not online. I only shop in stores. Thanks guys! =)
I am a coffee lover but the price of drinks are ridiculous. So me and my cousin decided were going to buy an espresso machine and start experimenting with some drink combinations. Since ive never owned one before im not really sure what i should look for in one. We're going for the more economic options since we cant dish out 0 right now. So ive found a couple decent options in my opinion (the cheapest ones). So which one would be the better value?

I am looking into purchasing an espresso maker for the first time. I dont really know how to work one yet, but I love the taste of espresso, cappuchinos, etc. I am just getting out of college so I dont have a lot of money to spend. I have been looking in the under 0 range, but most of the ones in this range have really bad reviews. I have no idea where to start, so I could use some suggestions.
What are some things to consider when purchasing an espresso maker? I have no idea how the whole system works (I am looking to buy one as a gift for my girlfriend). Is buying the machine enough or do I need to order accessories? I have read some reviews that mention a frothing wand and things of that nature, do they come with the machine? Basically I do not want to buy her a machine that she cannot use straight out of the box.
Any help is appreciated. This is one of the machines I'm looking at if anyone can comment, trying to stay under 0. DeLonghi EC155: http://www.amazon.com/DeLonghi-EC155-Espresso-Maker/dp/B000F49XXG
