I'm doing some research on the dangers of energy drinks. I came across a fact that guarana, often found in energy drinks, is very high in caffeine. Apparently, guarana seeds contain more caffeine than coffee beans. Monster and Rockstar both have 160mg of caffeine per can. Just wondering, does that number include the caffeine found in guarana?

Hi all. I got a great espresso machine for Christmas and am so excited but I have a silly, amature, question. Do you just use regular coffee beans? I bought "espresso beans" in a can and they are pretty good but they seem so finely ground. Is there a special grinder or something I need to use. Thanks for the help.

I want to make iced coffee that tastes like Starbucks's but I don't have the Starbucks coffee beans. Any ideas?

im told there is a type of gormet coffee made by feeding the coffee beans to cats. after the cat goes to the litter box the beans are recovered from there and thrown into a coffee bean grinder then placed in a coffee filter where a hot steaming fresh pot of coffee is made.

so i reaallllyyy dont know how to use my espresso machine but i want to make lattes and cappuccinos i have the delonghi ec155 and i dont know what kind of coffee to use? everyone says to use coffee beans?
so does that mean i cant use regular starbucks house blend coffee (which isnt beans) ??

I've noticed that whenever I get a cup of coffee from Starbucks it almost always tastes bitter and burnt. I have read that this is because they roast their coffee beans at higher temperatures to roast them faster. Now this leads me to wonder if this is the same beans they sell in bags because I have tried the bagged coffee and it doesn't have the bitter and burnt taste. Perhaps it's the way I'm brewing it or maybe they roast the coffee beans at normal roasting temperatures for the bagged coffees?

I found the coffee beans in my kitchen cabinet. They are good, expensive Hawaiian coffee beans, so I was wondering whether I can still drink the coffee from these beans. I know it's not gonna be fresh, but is it still potable?

I usually buy starbucks coffee beans from the store. Their bag says to bring in the empty bag once you're done with it, and you recieve a free tall coffee. Does this mean i can ask for a tall iced white mocha? Or does it only count towards warm coffee?

I know they sell it online, but I dont really go to starbucks much and was wondering if they also had a selection of whole coffee beans for sale in the stores? If they do, do they have a wide variety?

Also.. while you're here... i'm getting this coffee for my dad for fathers day and he didnt have a preference except to say he didnt want anything that was dark or bitter.. any suggestions?
