I did a barista course recently, and we always used the amount of coffee needed for two coffees, and made two at once. How would I make only one? Would I just press the single cup button? Even though there is enough coffee in there for two?
Does that mean I only fill the handle with half the amount of coffee?

Those things are like 100 decibels.
I reject the answer of:
"acoustic accents" to highlight the coffee going experience.
I'm talking about the Espresso machine noise, as in the sound that stops all nearby conversation dead until it completes, and pains the ears.
Not talking about the normal deli plate and spoon jiggling, etc.
A friend of mine just indicated I might be thinking of the steamer, and not the espresso machine.
If that's the case, then I pose the same question re: the steamer.

Several months ago, I started making cappuccino and then I stopped for a while. Back when I was making it on a regular basis, I had no problems steaming/frothing the milk and getting it nice and fluffy. Now that I have gotten back into it, I can't get the milk to "fluff" no matter what I try; 2% milk, skim milk.. doesn't matter. Shortly after I add the steamed milk to my espresso, it pretty much looks like regular coffee, with no thick layer of foam.
Same machine as before, same cups, etc.. Is it possible that the brand of milk has an effect? That's the only difference that I can think of, the skim milk I'm trying to use now is a different brand than before. Any secretes??

I'm thinking about getting a cappuccino machine to make some tasty steamed milk coffee and cocoa, so I can put it in a thermos and take it too work. But does the milk actually stay steamed, or does it lose its "frothiness" after a while?

Can I make ice coffee, cappuccinos, espresso, etc? Also, does anyone know the difference between the models? B60, B70 and the Special Edition?
II didn't even know they had one that doesn't have a water tank; but are there any additional options between them? There's a difference pricewise.

I'm on the downslope of my cold, with just a little runny nose and coughing up crap out of my lungs. This whole time I've been drinking herbal tea roughly every two hours for about 3 days now. Is it safe at this point to drink coffee? Should someone with a cold be drinking coffee at all?

My dad just bought a new coffee cappuccino maker thing because the old one we have stopped working. He put water in the reservoir and none came out after about 30 seconds of waiting. We took it back and got a new one and now it's doing the same thing. Anyone know how to get it to work?

Starbucks increases prices to offset rise in fuel and energy cost. Increase is 5%.
-What happens to quantity of supply demanded?
-What happens to demand of Starbucks coffee?
-What happens to the quantity of Starbucks coffee supplied and the supply of Starbucks coffee?
