I'm a teacher, and if I don't have caffeine, my class will be horrible. But when I come home, I can't do anything because I'm on caffeine withdrawal.
Also, I would never be able to sit down and concentrate on one thing for several hours. First, I need caffeine to get started on anything. And second, I need more coffee to keep going, but after an hour or two, I'm no good. And drinking more coffee would just make me sick.
HELP!
For you personally, how long does the caffeine buzz (jittery feeling, awakeness, etc) last you before you crash or need another one? Just curious about the caffeine effect on other people.
Redbull is expensive, while caffeine pills are around 7 cents a pop. I don't know why these pills would be age-gated, and I'm not planning on overdosing.
If you are pro caffeine, when do you like to take it? I hear some people only take it around mile 18. Thoughts?

what are the effects of caffeine and how much should i consume for optimal performance..eg.before i go to the gym? or before i go to school?
Being that it is finals week at my university, I have been staying up later at night. To try and stay more alert and focused, I have drank coffee and energy drinks (not both at the same time.) However, after having one of these beverages I literally feel no change. Is it possible that caffeine doesn't work on me, or do you think it's because the amount is not enough? I'm 5'2" 120 pounds if that matters.
I know the Qur'an speaks against alcohol and intoxicants, But caffeine is in a different category I think?
